Master Your Own Makeup — Bridal Edition
Course overview

Built around your face, your wedding palette, and the way you want to be remembered in your photos. Twelve hours of private instruction, in studio at Don Dunes Hub, scheduled over four sessions in the months leading up to your wedding.

Most brides are sold a single bridal look. We do the opposite — we teach you the framework so the look is yours, repeatable, and adjustable for the morning after, the henna, and every event your wedding week brings.

You will leave this course with a finished bridal kit curated to your skin and your colouring, and the technical confidence to apply it without a mirror coach in the room.

Who this course is for

Built around four very specific students.

01

The bride 4–9 months out

Wants to spend her wedding morning calmly applying her own makeup rather than waiting for a vendor.

02

The bride who has been let down

Tried two trials with two different MUAs and saw a face she did not recognise in the mirror.

03

The Sheikh Zayed/New Cairo bride

Wants editorial, refined makeup — not heavy contouring, not airbrushed plastic, not someone else’s aesthetic.

04

The destination bride

Marrying in Sahel, Gouna, Tuscany, or Greece and cannot fly an MUA in for every event in the week.

Hour by hour

The detailed curriculum.

The framework below is the template. Noha will deviate from it in the room — slowing down on the techniques that need more time and skipping past anything you already have a confident grip on. Sessions are tailored, not standardised.

Session 1 · Hour 1

Skin map & undertone analysis

Cleanse, examine, identify undertone and surface concerns. Discuss venue lighting and photography style.

Session 1 · Hour 2

Prep & priming for an 18-hour wear

Hydration, occlusive vs. silicone primers, the correct order for lash and brow tinting.

Session 1 · Hour 3

Foundation match — clinically

Three foundation candidates tested side-by-side under window light, ring light, and a 5500K flash.

Session 2 · Hour 4

Concealer mathematics

Where to brighten, where to neutralise, and the line where concealer becomes obvious in photographs.

Session 2 · Hour 5

Sculpt without contour heaviness

Cream sculpting placed for your bone structure, not a generic face chart.

Session 2 · Hour 6

Bridal blush language

How blush placement reads in close-up versus aisle distance. Building flush in two passes.

Session 3 · Hour 7

Eye architecture I

Transition shade, lid colour, outer corner depth — built around your eye shape, not a tutorial template.

Session 3 · Hour 8

Eye architecture II

Liner that survives tears. Lash strip selection and placement without help.

Session 3 · Hour 9

Brow framing for the dress

A bridal brow that complements your veil, hairline, and headpiece — not a daytime brow.

Session 4 · Hour 10

Lip — pre-ceremony, ceremony, reception

A three-stage lip system with a pre-applied liner base that survives signing the kitba and the first kiss.

Session 4 · Hour 11

Setting, finishing, and the photograph test

How to set a face that will not flashback. We test under flash live in the studio.

Session 4 · Hour 12

Touch-up kit & morning-of choreography

Build your bridal touch-up clutch. Walk through your wedding morning hour by hour, with a written timeline.

What graduates of Master Your Own Makeup have said.

I took this course before my wedding. On the morning of, I did my own face in 50 minutes and it survived the heat in Sahel. Photographs are the best of my life.

Farah K.
Bridal Edition · Spring 2024

Noha picked the perfect shades and brands that suit my skin tone and face structure. I have used the same kit at five events since.

Nour A.
Bridal Edition · Autumn 2024

The course was well structured but flexible to meet my specific needs — we slowed down on lashes for two extra hours and it changed everything.

FAQ

The questions we get most.

Most brides book us 4 to 9 months ahead of the wedding. Booking 12 weeks or fewer out is possible but limits the trial-and-revise loop we like to run between sessions.
